Game is played with mouse.
In Getting Over It, you take control of Diogenes, this dude who’s stuck in a giant cauldron, and you’ve got just a hammer to help him out. The goal? Climb a mountain of annoying stuff that’ll make you want to scream. You can move your mouse or use a controller, but get ready for some serious frustration.
Created by Bennett Foddy, the game has him chatting with you while you play. His comments might sound philosophical or just totally irritating, especially when you slip and fall right back to where you started. Forget checkpoints; every time you mess up, you get sent way back, and it’s super painful.
The obstacles are relentless. It feels like the game is daring you to see how much you can take before you rage-quit. But here’s the kicker: every time you fail, you pick up a few tricks for next time. Or maybe not. Sometimes you just fall again!
If you actually manage to reach the summit, you’ll launch into space, which is kind of epic. You can record your victory to show off later, or hop into a chat room to brag about how you survived this test of patience.
This game is all about skill, determination, and seeing how long you can stick with it before you lose your cool.
